      Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 6:diamond: , 6:heart:
Hero raises to $2,00, 3 folds, BB raises to $6,50, Hero calls $4,50.

      Flop: ($13,25) A:diamond: , 5:diamond: , 5:spade: (2 players)
BB bets $6,00, Hero calls $6,00.

      Turn: ($25,25) K:spade: (2 players)
BB bets $17,00, Hero folds, BB gets uncalled bet back..

      Final Pot: $25,25

Is this a bad spot for floating? I think he often has a pocketpair which he will give up on the turn. Here he probably had KK or AA I suppose.

      Hi,
The call preflop is fine 160BB deep, but the flop is a clear fold. His range is mostly 99+, AJ+, occasional SC's and small pairs, so more often than not he will have hit top pair here.
As a general rule, avoid playing tricky in 3-bet pots; just stick to playing for value and you'll be fine. Trying fancy moves in big pots can only lead to trouble.

      Regards,
      Craig
