      In hindsight this looks pretty dumb. I guess I'm only getting played on with against sets and made flushes.

      My thoughts at the time were to try and get some more money in incase I hit my flush :facepalm: . I think I should have just called him down and raise if I hit...

      I agree with your statement. You have a great bluffcatcher and he actually will value bet worse than AQ there, you can definitely call. Problem with raising is getting action by better too often and not much worse.

      Having the Ace of spades and playing like this would make sense if you want to turn your hand into a bluff and represent the nutflush basically. 100bb deep though it will not work. You need deeper stacks and opponents capable of folding low flushes. Hard to find that at NL25. Value betting is the way to crush NL25.
