I wasn't sure if should call in this situation, so I just folded... What do you think? I don't have any information on the villain.

      SB: $2.97
      Hero (BB): $5.00
      UTG: $3.62
      UTG+1: $4.59
      MP1: $3.90
      MP2: $12.93
      CO: $5.90
      BTN: $2.86

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is BB with 9  9 :club:
5 folds, BTN raises to $0.15, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.10

      Flop: ($0.32) 6 :club: 6 :spade: 5 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $0.25, Hero raises to $0.75, BTN raises to $2.71 all in, Hero folds

First of all I want to apologize for the late answer.

Preflop calling is fine of course and it is the best thing to do without any specific information here.

On the flop what's the reason for the check/raise? Do you expect better hands to fold or worse to call?
I think just calling here the flop and reevaluating the turn is the best option.
When he 3bet-shoves folding is good. I don't think he will even do this with a worse hand here.
