      Spewy turn barrel vs unknown?
I think his flop calling range is Ax or some PP so I thought betting turn is ok when I pick up equity & I fold any floats he might have.

Perhaps I should avoid betting twice without reads.

      UTG: $14.45 (57.8 bb)
      MP: $42.94 (171.8 bb)
      CO: $32.97 (131.9 bb)
      BTN: $29.79 (119.2 bb)
      SB: $25 (100 bb)
      Hero (BB): $75.56 (302.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T 9
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.75, SB folds, Hero raises to $2.50, BTN calls $1.75

      Flop: ($5.10) 8 A 4 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.55, BTN calls $2.55

      Turn: ($10.20) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $5.10, BTN calls $5.10

      River: ($20.40) K (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $19.64 and is all-in, Hero folds

      Results:
      $20.40 pot ($1.02 rake)
      Final Board: 8 A 4 7 K
BTN mucked and won $19.38 ($9.23 net)
Hero mucked T 9 and lost (-$10.15 net)

I think betting twice is fine here like you said, to make him fold some floats and some pairs. T9s can also be a call preflop though, it's not too weak imo but I don't mind the 3bet.

Oneo things to mention though: bet sizing, you can bet bigger on flop and turn so you have a <pot river shove.
