      Hi Imimba,

      Preflop: looks fine

Flop: Looks fine. When he checks he is usually on a weak Ax hand or some pair type hand (rarely giving up as I'd expect him to bluff this flop a lot)

      Turn: Looks fine

River: It's unfortunate that we get raised and I agree with you that we are ahead 27% and here's why:

For value he could raise all backdoor flushes. He rarely ever has 44 or JJ.

For value, in his mind, he can also raise A4 and those are 6 combos. Without even including bluffs that means he can have up to 22 combos of value (that beat us) for us to break even.

      Is j9 in his range?

He has showdown value, so checks flop. Gets 2p on turn, and slowplays it.

He has J9 in his range that's for sure but I doubt he'd raise the river often with it, especially on the backdoor.
