Didn`t wrote down the stats of the other guy, but they were kinda fishy (and he limps) => :f_biggrin:

OTF? ch/b or value bet the fish? I guess betting is better here? BB is less likely to bluff with the fish behind?

I think turn is ok vs this small bet.

I think i can`t call the river bet. I thought about raising, but i really can`t have a lot of hands here raising for value except 87and 97s. Also i don`t have a lot of info for BB and decided to just fold?

After you check the flop, I think you played it OK. Turn call because you have the best hand often, fold river because most or his hands just got there (7x, 65) plus he can still vbet some sets since you rarely have better, but most of his range will be 7x imo.

I actually prefer betting the flop like you mentioned. You do get some value when you bet but you can also turn your hand into a bluff on certain runouts to make your opponent fold TT, JJ and some weak Kx. With A9 you don't do it often but if you had for example T9 with diamonds then you can turn it into a bluff even more often to make him fold better 9x as well.

The added benefit of betting flop is that you get to see river for free if you so choose to do.
