      Hi all,

On river, when a straight arrived, I decided to play bet/fold, but it appeared to me that weaker hands will not call a 1/2 size bet or bigger, so I made a smallish 1/3 pot block-bet hoping to get called by some crap or a weaker king. As the villain was passive all the way, I didn't expect him to raise me with anything but a straight.

      What do you think?

      Hi German,

      Preflop: looks fine

      Flop: looks fine

Turn: looks thin but fine on the blank card

River: There are rarely any worse Kx hands, so the only value is from 9x but 98 got there, and from TT/JJ.

I think that river should be check/fold as it appears to light.

Oh, true :) I've just been looking at the board and thinking about worse Kx: "K9 - no, K8 - no, K7, K6, K5 - no" :D Everything had me beat.

As far as I remember, he called with a busted draw :f_biggrin: I agree though, that my bet might be -EV with sensible opponents.
