Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players

      MP: $51 (102 bb)
      CO: $58.65 (117.3 bb)
      BTN: $50 (100 bb)
      SB: $33.48 (67 bb)
      Hero (BB): $111.28 (222.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A J
2 folds, BTN raises to $1.25, SB calls $1, Hero raises to $5, BTN calls $3.75, SB folds

      Flop: ($11.25) 3 3 5 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $5.50, Hero raises to $14, BTN folds

      Anon table.

SB was a fish, BTN played 19/17 after 40 hands.

Preflop is the perfect spot to squeeze.

The reg's calling range will be quite capped, maybe some AA/KK slowplay some of the time, but mostly middle PPs (77/88/99/TT, maybe JJ), and some broadways like AQ/KQ/etc.
So on this 533r board he simply cant have strong hands, weaker overpairs at most. I could plan to barrel flop/turn/(river?) to make him fold something like 99, but I rather went for the chRaise, he will probably stab after my check with most of his hands, but will be hard for him to continue, as my move is strong, and he has to decide about his stack mainly on the flop... If he calls, I can shove J/K/A/ turns mostly.

players bet with worse hands and likely fold some pairs, so I don´t mind.
I would only shove turn if it is heart or T, J, Q, K, A

      best regards,

your play could be good but im not sure. Basically i would never play my overpairs this way and im not sure whether he knows your tendencies and balance for such spots. Vs a paranoid guy he might just call down cos it doesnt make too much sense for you to have a c-r range in this spot. but well your exploitative play could be good if you know he plays weak.

i probably prefer the bet bet bet line.
