      PartyGaming - $0.10 NL (6 max) FAST - Holdem - 6 players
      Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

      BTN: 186.9 BB
      Hero (SB): 118.3 BB
      BB: 100 BB
      UTG: 100 BB
      MP: 116.3 BB
      CO: 133.7 BB

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has J:club: A:club:

fold, fold, CO raises to 3 BB, BTN raises to 10 BB, Hero calls 9.5 BB, fold, CO raises to 38 BB, fold, Hero raises to 118.3 BB and is all-in, CO calls 80.3 BB

      Flop: ($24.76, 2 players) 3:heart: 3:spade: Q:heart:

      Turn: ($24.76, 2 players) 2:spade:

      River: ($24.76, 2 players) 5:spade:

CO shows 8:diamond: A:diamond: (One Pair, Threes) (Pre 30%, Flop 31%, Turn 23%)
Hero shows J:club: A:club: (One Pair, Threes) (Pre 70%, Flop 69%, Turn 77%)
      Hero wins 237.6 BB

I call because the guy who raised does it 33% of time, VP28. I am not sure if 4 bet is better, but what if he calls or pushes.
Then the other guy 4bets, and suprisingly his 4bet is 50%, VP25 :)
So because there is already a lot of dead money, I think I have nice equity against him, so I push. Is it AJs too weak against his 4bet range?

      Hi mlatasrb,

Preflop: Over what sample are our 3-bet/4-bet stats?

You need a pretty big sample for accurate 4-bet numbers.

There are two parts of this hand that we need to discuss:

      A) Our call vs BTN's 3-bet

I think this is too loose. I much more prefer a cold 4-bet bluff than to call here, keep CO in the hand and possibly play OOP to two guys.

What's your plan postflop? We need to have one in cases like this where we commit ~10% of our stack.

      B) Shoving over CO's 4-bet as a cold-caller.

Do you expect to have FE?
What do you expect villain to shove?

These spots are VERY read dependent (and dynamic dependent).

The sample is not huge, but if somebody 3bets 15/45 times then I think it is hardly a coincidense. The other guy 6/12 4bets

      1) My plan was, if I hit I call call call against maniac. If I miss, I can sometimes bluff them if they are passive, because my cold call looks strong.

      2) I shoved, because he is 4beting so much, and this situation was ideal for him to 4bet bluff (as he did with A8s). So I push 9$ to win 12$, and I think I have enough equity for that, and sometimes he folds his bluff (maybe not because he 4bet large).

Anyway, now I think AJs is not good how I play, both 1) and 2). Maybe with JJ+.
