      BTN: $2 (100 bb)
      SB: $3.11 (155.5 bb)
      BB: $1.46 (73 bb)
      UTG: $0.91 (45.5 bb)
      MP: $2.43 (121.5 bb)
      Hero (CO): $2.16 (108 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 2 2
UTG calls $0.02, MP raises to $0.10, Hero calls $0.10, 4 folds

      Flop: ($0.25) 5 J 5 (2 players)
MP bets $0.14, Hero raises to $0.50

The flop is dry as...as something very dry. That's why Hero imagined himself having quite a lot of FE, and raised the poor guy with air. Also his bet-sizing is a bit weak.

I agree that it might not be the best thing to do against an unknown (if not a horrible mistake), but is it fine against someone who c-bets a lot?

Check/raise OOP would have even more FE, wouldn't it?

      Hi German,

      Preflop: looks fine

Flop: On these boards we don't represent much so as you move up and play somewhat thinking opponents you won't have as much FE.

At these limits though people can fold a lot because they bet a lot and not think twice about what you can do this with.

However I do agree that at 2nl we should stay away from bluffs on this board with a terrible hand (we only have 2 outs).
