Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is CO with 7  7 :diamond:
1 fold, MP raises to $0.10, Hero calls $0.10, 3 folds

      Flop: ($0.27) 3 :diamond: 8  8 :club: (2 players)
MP bets $0.15, Hero raises to $0.52, MP calls $0.37

      Turn: ($1.31) 9 :club: (2 players)
MP checks, Hero ? Villain has 2.01$ behind. I didnt want to get ch.r-d, or called and donk-pushed on the river, so I went for pot control. Or I apply it bad here?
If he had like 4$ behind, I would have went for thin value(and protection), like 0.8$.

      Hello,

      Preflop calling is fine.

What's the reason for raising the flop here? Do you expect to get called by worse or a better hand to fold?
I prefer calling here and reevaluating the turn.

As played, I like checking back the turn.

      Best,
      Plamen

I raised flop for protection, basically vs overcards. So many bad cards can come on the turn, so many ways can he improve, that even if he folds them it's good for me.

First of all, I don't really see that draws that can improve on the turn.

Raising here, turns our hand into a bluff and basically there is no worse hand that could call us, neither a better to fold.
