      On the turn we can't call on such a board, and especially fold :)

      So imo you chose the only realistic line here.

      Hi BigAl,

      Preflop: looks fine

      Flop: Considering how wet the board is we should bet bigger for value/protection.

      Turn: Raise/folding versus him is fine. He doesn't seem overly aggressive so I wouldn't expect him to shove much worse over us.

      However I'd probably make the raise an amount that I would bet if he checked to us, and that would be $2.5 or so.
