Prima, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

      CO: $12.71 (127.1 bb)
BTN: $32.66 (326.6 bb) Loose Slightly Aggressive
      SB: $10.77 (107.7 bb)
      Hero (BB): $25.11 (251.1 bb)
      MP: $11.31 (113.1 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q Q
MP folds, CO raises to $0.30, BTN raises to $0.50, SB folds, Hero raises to $1.50, CO folds, BTN calls $1

      Flop: ($3.35) 7 K 5 (2 players)
      Hero checks, BTN checks

      Turn: ($3.35) 5 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $1.67, Hero calls $1.67

      River: ($6.69) 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $1.67, Hero calls $1.67

Is it right to play passive here and turn my hand into a bluff catcher?

      Hi Mahee,

Preflop: looks fine considering how deep we are.

However think about how you'd react from a CO 5-bet or a BTN 5-bet

As played there's still value on the flop so my preferred line would be to bet/fold flop, if called bet turn and ck back river.

If he is really aggro and bluffs a lot if given the chance we can take the line you took but it's usually not a lot more value than just betting yourself (unless we are afraid of being bluff raised too much).

Even from a 120 BB CO stack? What do we know about him? I'd insta muck if he would be passive/nitty.

From my experience at micros, people who use lines like limp/raise, min 3bet/5bet usually have AA or KK. When they 3bet shove directly or 4bet shove then they have AK, QQ, JJ etc.

With a line like min raise/5bet he's trying to get people into the pot and not driving everyone away which is what they do with nuts. They want to see someone else giving action before they raise it up big.

Same goes for lines like open raise to 3bb, get 3bet and 4bet to 25bb. This is usually AA, KK. If he open raises to 3bb and shoves against a 3bet then its Ak,QQ most of the times.

That sounds about right. The only times we can stack off against CO is when we have some history or he is aggressive.
