Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      Hero (MP): $50 (100 bb)
      CO: $109.60 (219.2 bb)
      BTN: $59.53 (119.1 bb)
      SB: $53.23 (106.5 bb)
      BB: $49.53 (99.1 bb)
      UTG: $58.67 (117.3 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A 4
UTG folds, Hero raises to $1.50, CO folds, BTN calls $1.50, 2 folds

      Flop: ($3.75) 8 2 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.50, BTN calls $2.50

      Turn: ($8.75) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $6, BTN calls $6

      River: ($20.75) A (2 players)
Hero bets $10, BTN raises to $20, Hero folds

      Anon table.

BTN played 38/17 after 25 hands, AFq 30 so far.

I thought ch/fold river would be too weak, and I didnt want to blockbet river vs unknown fish where I dont know if I induce or not, so I rather bet halfpot (vs PPs/8x mainly), this way I can fold to a raise with clear conscience.

      Hi,

Meh I don't think there's enough value by the river? What are you getting called by? Does those hands call often enough to make up for flushes/the unlikely 2x? Just check/fold, possibly check/call a small bet.
