fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, BTN calls 3 BB, fold, fold

      Flop: (7.5 BB, 2 players) 9:club: 5:diamond: 3:club:

      River: (15.5 BB, 2 players) J:diamond:
Hero bets 7.4 BB, BTN raises to 27.7 BB, fold

Does river change situation at all for me, because I got 2 top pair? He strangely check behind with flush and loses a lot of value, is it possible? Is it ok fold river? 256 hands, AF flop 53%, no raises, turn 1.2 AF, river 4 AF.

      Hi mla,

Preflop: looks a bit too loose considering SB is super short and you are 5 BI deep with BB.

Postflop: I can see villain checking back a flush, especially the nut flush draw because you are usually ck/folding in this situation.

So I'd also bet/fold the river but I'd make it larger at around 10 BB because the small 1/2 pot bet may induce bluff raises.
