      Check/calling river doesn't make sense. He has showdown value hand that could call a bet or that is better than yours. When you check, better bets and worse checks. If you think he calls many 99-A2 type hands value bet it, otherwise it becomes a check/fold imo. You would need him to double float the backdoor flushdraw and bluff it on the river. It's difficult for that to happen often enough imo.
