      Hero (MP1): $50.76 (101.5 bb)
      MP2: $40.69 (81.4 bb)
      MP3: $62.31 (124.6 bb)
      CO: $56.82 (113.6 bb)
      BTN: $55.65 (111.3 bb)
      SB: $50.25 (100.5 bb)
      BB: $47.11 (94.2 bb)

      Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 7 7
      Hero raises to $1.75, MP2 calls $1.75, 5 folds

      Flop: ($4.25) 3 K 5 (2 players)
      Hero bets $3.01, MP2 calls $3.01

      Turn: ($10.27) 6 (2 players)
      Hero checks, MP2 checks

      River: ($10.27) 8 (2 players)
      Hero checks, MP2 checks

      Results:
      $10.27 pot ($0.56 rake)
      Final Board: 3 K 5 6 8
      Hero showed 7 7 and won $9.71 ($4.95 net)
      MP2 mucked T Q and lost (-$4.76 net)

      Stats: VPIP: 41, PFR: 11, 3B: 0, AF: 1,6, Hands: 44

Decided to stop CBetting because IMO only Kx and draws call the flop there, neither of those would fold on the turn card.

If he bet the river, should I call?
I'd say not due to the 8. (I shouldn't consider this 8 something that closes SDs right? only 97 would close...)

Cbetting once and giving up with 77 is probably still +EV against a lot of players.

That said, 77 on this board (having backdoor straight and flushdraw) I usually cbet to turn into a bluff on certain runouts against specific opponents.

I don't recommend you do that because you aren't aware enough of ranges i my opinion so cbetting once is usually fine because they fold enough of the time UNLESS you have a read/stat that says otherwise.
