the reason why i didn't barrel the turn was because i think he will call my x/r with mainly Kx hands and so i decided to just check back and take a free river..

      Hello,

      Preflop raising is fine.

On the flop I like raising here. We could make better hands to fold, and also even if we get called we have decent equity.
What if we face a 3bet though?

I don't mind checking behind the turn here.
We are likely not to have a lot of FE here, so if we are not planning to bet the river as well, checking behind is the best option.

The river is an easy fold.

      Best,
      Plamen

ermmmm lol i have no idea. i'd probably just fold it tbh. is that a reason to just call the donk instead of raise it? i mean if he tries to get it in i'm most likely vs a set and i dont really wanna be playing just a FD vs such a strong hand. afaik people arent going broke in his spot with a worse FD. at least not without decent reads.

I still think that the raise is fine here.
If he 3bets here though I'd play according to pot odds and implies odds since if he goes for a 3bet we are probably in a very bad shape.
