i dont really have enough hands on villain to give any stats. he's been active over 13 hands tho :D

i think down to the river it's standard unless there are problems with sizing...

when villain donks on the river i think it's a super tough spot but maybe it's just a snapfold? playing deep like this i dont think people are too happy to stack off without some sort of decent hand. villain tank/called when the A hit and snap donked this river. i think if i didnt have bottom set i wouldnt have let it go so easily but i just think when playing deep and after he jams it in it screams overset/flush. what do you think?

I think you played this fine overall.

Preflop calling is fine of course.

Raising the flop is good here.

I like betting bigger on the turn. The card is a bad and basically, if he calls half pot bet, he'd call 3/4 here, so I'd just go for maximizing the value and of course betting 3/4 here, we have less that pot size bet on the river.

As played, I'm folding the river. I expect him to have a better hand most of the time.

thanks. would you say this is a super easy fold? what if he bet much smaller like half pot or less? and if he checks, i was planning to check back.. dont really see what weaker hands will play this way and even pay off a river bet..

I wouldn't say it's a super easy fold - nobody likes to fold sets at all.
But overall, people are pretty honest in these spots and they usually represent what they have.

If he bets smaller it's probably fold again.
