I've encountered a lot of weird bets like this as well. To me it definitely doesn't look like he has anything, because the bet is so small on a low coordinated board, where most hands would need some protection. I guess the problem is that most opponents aren't thinking like this playing NL10 so who knows what he has

When in these situations I've mostly flat called to see what he does on turn, but I've also reraised sometimes because most of the time I don't think the opponent will be holding anything unless they have maybe a set or something... but I don't really know if raising is a very good option since it's building a big pot if he calls and you have nothing so........

I mostely fold and look for a better spot. At first a bet means what it is. Only with good reads you can deduct it means something else. It might be tempting to battle for each pot, and always catch him when your KQ is still a 55% favourite or that he will fold his bottom pair, but that does not mean that you make the most money with it. If you want to call/raise these hands, i think it's better to use your time and open an extra table.

I must confess however that i'm very tight without initiative or when donked into.

      I´d fold
He is middlestack and hard to believe that he´d fold if you re-raise and you don´t have odds to call.
