Im I giving him too much credit?

This is a play I can see somebody doing with top pair weak kicker and fdraw.

Also with maybe JJ, TT and fdraw. If he has the nuts why shove over and not just call and wait for me to raise the river?

      Hi Elchipriota,

      Preflop: looks fine

Flop: Why bet so small here vs what appears to be a fish. We are betting less than half pot. I'd bet large so I can shove any turn without overbetting.

On the turn we are betting so small on this scare card that we are practically inducing raises and we really know nothing about the guy. Considering he just ships it I'd feel compelled to call. We can always bet bigger and go with the hand or just ck and see what he does.

don't ever check the turn here. Just bet/decide for value and way bigger(my standard would be to bet/fold vs passive fish and bet/call vs more aggro guys with reads, thats why notes on fish are super important). That sizing gives him way too good of price to draw against you.
