      After you didn't bet flop (which is not a must imo, but makes a lot of sense with a hand that usually gets worse and worse) I think you have to just check/call when profitable (not check/call a shove :P ) and never bet unimproved.

      You don't know his range too well so you sort of have to play your own range. I think 96 becomes too think.. K9, maybe J9 is when you can consider value betting.
