If villain likes to barrel we're gonna have a hard time getting to showdown and since he has a MP open range it's not easy to call down light. Turn card is also not good to turn 88 into bluff.

Can we just fold flop or not really?

      Hi Farma,

Against early position opener (that we have no info on) I'd fold the flop.

It's very hard for us to get to showdown without having to call multiple streets.

      And vs MP :D

I think it's maybe fine to fold 88 without a heart?

The heart doesn't really change that much other than allow us to sometimes win the pot for picking up a backdoor flush (and it gets checked down). I doubt you can valuebet a 8 high flush.

That's true but from GTO perspective and when we're talking about constructing a good callingrange in this spot we might want to add all PP's with a heart in it?

You guys have got to start including more reads and stats on guys when you post hands. Put a little more time into creating the hand.

I think this is a pretty sweet spot to raise the flop cbet if he is opening MP too much and cbetting too much. Plus we can barrel 4/6/8/9 maybe barrel hearts/maybe check back to realize equity(I would be more likely to barrel to get him to fold AQ/QK without heart plus that's how I would play my sets and flush draws if I decided to raise it on the flop). I realize you are only repping exactly 77/55 on the flop but I think at these stakes regs won't 3bet bluff much so you can get away with this. If he calls the flop raise, I would almost always put him on AQ/QK and barrel turn/jam pretty much any river, if he calls you can take a note that he is a station and views you as aggro/spewy then you can just value him to death or if he calls turn and folds river we can take a note that he sees u as tight and calls flop/turn with TPTK type stuff and folds river when river (blanks/draw hits)

      So yea I think raising>calling

I don't really know how. The one cool thing I could think of is the notify judge thing would be pretty awesome because I often don't look back in threads that I posted in unless someone responds immediately or I think the spot is too simple and there is no need for more discussion.

This spot is pretty interesting imo, I think at like 200-400nl it's super villain dependent. I'm not sure if I even always have 55 here in my range plus I feel like my range for raising here would be more draw heavy. I think it might just be a fold. I'm actually really curious what pleno1/internet/other good regs have to say about having a raising range on the flop and what it would look like for them if they have one here.

I think pleno is the coordinator of the judges and the one who decides who becomes judge. So you could add him via the community tool and ask for his skypenick ;)

That's indeed interesting, u can always quote the hand and post it in the NL100+ section with your question.
