      Hi,

I would most likely just fold preflop (our kicker sucks), and I wouldn't try floating a passive guy on the flop (because he has something, and we have nothing).

On the river I don't think that weaker calls often enough. If we had a nut straight, I would think about it, but not with our wheel on a flush board.

      Hey BigAl,

Preflop: This deep with this hand I prefer to 3-bet or fold. We don't have a ton of value in calling (other than trying to steal pots).

Postflop: As played I don't mind the raise on the river, if we can expect him to play 9x or TT+ like this, however we have to fold to any further action.

What range do you see a guy like this almost potting the river after the line he took?

I'd say that he could also have slowplays (sets/2p).

      Hi Bogdan,

Even if expect him to play 9x or TT+ like this, can we really expect him to call our raise with these hands? I would imagine that pairs will just fold on a raise most of the time. Also, his close to 4/5 bet on the river doesn't look like bet/fold with a pair. That's why I would prefer just calling the river.

      TY

I think he could still call TT+ if he slowplayed them (as well as slowplayed sets).

I would also find it hard to believe that he has many backdoor flushes. Maybe AQ/AK (A2/K9) that can't fold to one bet.

On the other hand, most players will quit their slowplay on the turn. So his passive line looks more like a draw than a good made hand :f_rolleyes:
