      his stats in 126 hands vpip40 pfr32 af2,4 wtsd35 3BEt 18,2

his 3 BET is very high.
and he was short stack,so I went all in.
but after this,I saw the data ,and I noticed when he really has strong hands,he 3 bet for 3x. and when he reraises light with hands like Ax,he miniraise.
so I got trapped in this hand.

and I think his strategy is good ? is it good to change the size of reraise to make 3 BET % higher?

      Hi,

I think shove is fine. m fine getting all-in against aggressive 3-bettor AQ+, 88+ and 77 suits fine my bet/shove range.
You often take down pot pre-flop or if he happens to have AQ/AK you´re still getting all-in being ahead

      best regards,

I think 3bet size should be always the same. If you 3bet larger with premium hands, and people notice that at showdown, than you are very predictable.

I'm kind of confused as to your wording and what you are asking but in general my standard is to 3.5x 3bet oop and 2.5x or 3x ip however I'm doing same with my bluffs and monsters.

well if you have a read then you can definitely make adjustments to what you think about the way he play his 3bet ranges.

and this spot is mostly a math or equilab spot. you should learn how to do the math yourself and practice.

i,ll give you an example here.

When you shove and he folds, you win 75c (the money you put in so far) and 2$ from him. so thats 2.75.

When you shove and he calls, calculate your equity with 77 vs his expected stack off range. in this case you are putting in 14.25 more and the amount you are expected to get back on average is your equity multiplied by the total pot size (15 plus 15 equals 30)

then calculate the total EV of your play.
