Poker Stars, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 4 Players

      Hero (CO): $2.12 (106 bb)
      BTN: $5.36 (268 bb)
      SB: $4.30 (215 bb)
      BB: $0.76 (38 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 3 3
Hero raises to $0.07, BTN folds, SB raises to $0.16, BB folds, Hero calls $0.09

      Flop: ($0.34) 8 6 8 (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero checks

      Turn: ($0.34) J (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.22, SB calls $0.22

      River: ($0.78) A (2 players)
      SB bets $0.30, Hero folds

Is it an invitation to bluff with any two, when the PFR checks to you twice? In this case the villain was unknown, so I decided to bluff. The turn card is not particularly scary, but still an overcard. Against a fish I would check behind.

      Hi German,

I would say that we are actually valuebetting versus AK/AQ rather than bluffing.

Can you expect him to fold better?

Oh, I see. So the bet here is good: if overcards call -- it's +EV, if overcards fold -- we don't mind either.

What if we had some trash? Could we bluff in unknown villains?

I say of course...if someone doesn't show us intention to take the pot then why not take it by yourself. There are also players who almost never bet and call almost everything so your bet have to vary there and of course depends on player type. But in general our judges say. If none wants the pot then bet yourself and take it.

      Sweet, thanks, guys.

As always, even when I do something right, I usually have the wrong reasoning :f_biggrin: Oh, God.
