Is raising +ev, or too thin?...

Raise for value? We have the nut straight, but can worse call? Wouldnt it be better to raise on the river, and get in another bet from him before?

      Hello,

      Preflop raising is fine.

I think we can cbet here on the flop - we have FD, gutshot and two overcards as well.

As played, I don't mind raising here but I'm folding to a 3bet. There are worse hands that could call us, such as sets/pairs/two pairs.

As played on the turn, I prefer flatting the river. Raising will be thin here.

      Best,
      Plamen

Can we really fold our straight on the turn vs a 3bet? On NL5 I'd expect people to go broke with 2p/sets aswell. Or he has simply more flushes in his range, and that is the reason.

      Hello again,

Judging by my personal experience people do tend to show up with mostly flushes in these spots so I'd be happy to just raise/fold here.
