      Hello,

      Preflop I prefer folding Q9s at SB here.

      I prefer calling the flop here. We don't draw to the nuts, and also we have suspicious fold equity against this guy so I prefer keeping the flop smaller.

      If we check/raise and a blank comes I'd check and play according to the pot chances and outs.

      Why would you fold it preflop?
      in HU vs this opponent, Q9s is pretty standard call imo.
      OR I simply need to learn more, to make it standard? :tongue:

      First of all, if we call we will be OOP and without the initiative which usually leads to us loosing money.
      Then, we are at SB so we are given worse odds plus BB can easily come over the top squeezing since BU has a weak range and yours isn't strong either.
      Also our hand is dominated and doesn't really play great postflop.

      So given these statements I prefer just folding or 3betting if he folds a lot.
