Hi my name is Julius after watching Gordon‘s video decided to start my blog. Mainly for tracking my progress and posting some interesting hands. It will be only about poker no real life stuff.
I started playing ~2 years ago with PS free 50$ on Full tilt FR NL2, climbed to NL10 quite fast, after Full tilt closed did not play for about 2 months, then PS offered other 100$ free, so started again, but SH. Now I have ~4.5k bankroll and today will start playing NL50 SH ZOOM on stars. My main goals for this year:
      1) Reach NL200 by the end of the year.

      2) Play at least 60k hands a month.

      3) Update this blog at least 1 time per week.

So that’s it for today, maybe I’ll update this post when I have inspiration :)

Justed finished my first NL50 zoom session - 3000 hands. Impresion qiute good, saw a lot of fishy players, maybee eaven more than on NL25 Full tilt rush. Did not had any stats so was playing Nitty. Will post some hands:

      PokerStars - $0.50 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
      Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

      BTN: $50.25
      SB: $19.19
      BB: $50.00
      UTG: $76.66
      MP: $82.28
      Hero (CO): $97.17

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.75) Hero has K:diamond: K:heart:

UTG raises to $1.50, MP calls $1.50, Hero raises to $5.50, fold, fold, fold, UTG calls $4.00, MP calls $4.00

      Flop: ($17.25, 3 players) 5:diamond: 6:spade: 2:heart:
UTG checks, MP checks, Hero bets $8.50, UTG calls $8.50, fold

      Turn: ($34.25, 2 players) 9:diamond:
UTG bets $62.66 and is all-in, Hero ?

UTG was playing 28/15, fold 2 3bet 0/1, ussauly peaple do not overbet monsters in such way. I could see 56s playing this way, maybe TT - QQ, maybe some turned draws Ad5d, Ad6d, anyway tough spot.

      River: ($77.25, 2 players) 5:heart:
UTG bets $25.62 and is all-in, Hero?

I get qiute good odds to setmine, and 3betor seemd like a fish palying 38/21, other seems like reg 25/23, I did not raise flop, want to keep fish in a pot, Turn card sucks big time, reg always almost has flush, maybee sometimes slowplayed KsK, or AsA, I get ~30% if board pairs I guess I should stack him anyway, so with Implaid odds it's call IMO. How vould you play this hand. What about R?

SB checks, Hero bets $11.00, SB raises to $39.33 and is all-in, Hero ??

After 45 hands he was 8/5 and 3beted 1/14, I think I should have ch/b turn if he wants to bluff cach with QQ-JJ, he will call R bet, if he bets R him self, we are almost always beat, so now then he ch/R it's a fold i Guess, from information we have, theres not much draws in his range, or worse hands.

1)easy fold imo, if you have some problems with deep play just rejoin table?

      2) i would raise the flop as played you cant fold the River if you called turn, otherwise its weird to call turn.

      3) best case imo split against AK. IF you wanna go for bluffcathing ch/b

      4) small valuebet i dont think he is playing a better queen or Full this way, worst case imo KQ best case JJ or random pocket pair thats most likely

Had worst session ever results wise -11BI during 3000 hands, but I think I played OK, did not tilt, made only couple mistakes, so I am proad of myself :) then I was moving up, I thought loosing so much i one session will hurt more. Here are hands which I am not qiute sure:

      PokerStars - $0.50 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

      Turn: ($30.25, 2 players) 9:heart:
SB bets $45.72 and is all-in, Hero calls $37.50 and is all-in

Vilian looks very agro from 73hands I have on him 32/28 14%3bet, so I flat to keep his range wide, I think there are some bluffs in it too. I ch/b flop to induse, I do not think he ch with F draw, I would stack AK any whay I am
crushed by KK, QQ would bluff cach one small bet on later streets. What do you think about my thought process?

hello, did not update for quite long time, was busy in RL and was reviewing my game a lot. This is mainly because I droped ~21BI last 16k hands. Before reviewing I thought I run bad, but I play somewhat OK. But it turned out I misplayed or made mistakes which cost me ~20BI, so if I did play close to perfect I would have been BE. Now my goal is to play close to perfect every session. Of course it is not so easy, last two sessions went as follows: I made a worm up, wrote most mistakes that I should not do, was concentrated and played well, also run well too. Won 7BI. Said to myself nice, that's how it should work ;) , next session did not worm up, played more relaxed, got few suck outs, and after that made 2 mistakes which was written on my monitor, that made me MAD. I mean those mistakes there worth ~1BI but it really made me tilt. I did not spew, but I definitely was not playing my A game anymore. So lost those 7BI back. From those only 1BI was clearly mistakes, other was suck outs PF coolers, but not concentrating being angry of course made me miss some profitable steal, 3bet, 4bet ch/R spots, as well as I did pick some wrong spots to do those actions.
To sum up running bad is good for a game, last 3 months or so I was running really decently on NL25 was making ~1k for each of those months, but I did not analyze my game enough - whats the point I am running good, I am wining so why to analyze? But there was definitely leaks and misplays in my game too. Also I thought my mindset improved, but it improved only then I was running good and had ~200BI in my bankroll, now then I moved up, than I have less BI it is much tougher to maintain good mindset. So there is a lot of work to be done if I want to reach NL200 by the end of this year. Good luck me.

      1) stick it in preflop, such guys hate to fold after 4betting anyway and you don't want him to miss if he has AK/AQ. His sizing is quite big anyway.

2)WP imo, we should bet coz he has tons of AX that we beat and I think he has a bluff there like 5% of the time or never, plus we choose our own sizing for the blockbet, if we want to play XC we might have to call around PSB and it might be worse;)

      3) I think turn is a really good card to bluff at, OTR from his sizing obv it seems he has a marginal hand so in theory he should fold to a raise so its fine, sometimes player might do this with a FD to induce on the river

      4) bet more on turn to 11.5 I think is sexiest:D - you want fd to pay, worse KX to pay( he should almost never have better king here ), 60%~~ bet/fold river

      5) He is repping also KK,AA,KQ,AQ,maybe even AJ,KJ if he know how to thin value bet coz you also seem like airball.
I don't really like bluff like this on flop, 22 is about the worst hand to do it here with, its just this board hits his range pretty hard.. and you are reping also a very narrow range on the flop

HI, thanks for your opinion, yes 1 and 5 is in my not perfectly played list :)
