Any way I could have got more out of this hand?

On river I hoped he had a straight. I assumed he would bet a half decent amount and then I could shove over the top.

I wasn't 100% on his range, I felt they were going to be mainly draws.

You don't post stats, without stats i would bet bet bet. Bit bigger on turn and about 1$ with current size on river, to induce raise from straight and light call from weaker.

      Hi Phil,

      Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Considering this is a limped pot and we need to get as much money in as soon as possible I'd raise bigger on the flop and bet bigger on the turn.

On the river I'd just overbet shove since no 8x folds and 2p/sets may still call thinking we are bluffing once the diamonds miss.

Also please start posting information on the opponents even if it's "villain unknown". Poker is a game of information and the more information we have the better decisions we can make.

I have been struggling in HM2 to get it to post for Pokerstrategy with stats.

Any link showing me how would be useful?

Most people just look at the HM2 replayer and put the info they see there (depending on what stats we need).
