      Hi!

      UTG: 9/9 58h
      SB: 26/7 82h

After finishing this hand, i guessed what would be the better play... if there was no SB involved in this hand.
So in a HU pot with UTG is it better to just call there? There aren't much FD-s in his range and if I raise, I may isolate myself with his better hands. What do you think about this assumption?

I think that in a 3w pot like this it must be a raise without a guestion.:)

      Hi,

First question you should ask yourself is what do you do versus a 3-bet (either from UTG or SB) and second would be what worse can call here?

Even 3-way I still think that we are isolating ourselves against the better part of his range. He seems nitty so far (super small sample) so he may not have many Kx hands that can call there.

How would you play the hand if SB called or if UTG called?

      thank you
      hmmn you got me:)
Against a 3b I should fold there so yes... there's no point in raising.
What would I do after a call? I think against SB I have 3 streets of value, but against UTG I would usually checkbehind the river.:)

      :)

Your best bet to keep SB in the pot is to actually call there. Of course the turn may be ugly but we still have a great hand.

If UTG were to 3-bet we would have a tough time. There are some FDs that could go broke with us but I doubt many Kx or worse would 3-bet there so we may be forced to fold.
