      Hi Dracsharp,

Preflop: looks like another A8o but this time in a much better spot :)

Postflop: the flop cbet looks good to me and I would prefer to ck/call that turn considering that we don't have that much value in a bet anymore.

As played the call on turn and river fold is fine.

What would you do on a 8 or A river? or a 5d? And he shoved.

I wouldn't let him shove on me, i would shove on him :) , i am way too committed to c/f and c/c is worse option. He limped pre.

So you would play trips, 2p and nut flush the same way?

Considering his turn line what would we beat on the river with trips/2p (pretty much the same hand)?

With nut flush I agree that shoving yourself would be best, given the turn line.

Well i hate playing versus unknowns :)

If he was slowing flush or 57 we are beat and only flush helps, if he called flop 79,87,67 which can be legit we are beat, pp prolly wouldn't wait for turn to raise back or skip it altogether, or set, or 2p.

So you are right, nor we have any reason to c/c.

(later him turning into a megafish might have influenced my quick judgement)

Would you cf 2 pair and trips ?

Considering that TP there (as we have it) is pretty much the same as trips or 2p I would play the same and that's folding.

This is assuming that he doesn't raise an overpair on the turn (which, as you said, i doubt he does).

So his range is a bluff or nuts (fullhouse/flush/straight).
