      PartyGaming - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
      Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

      Hero (SB): $10.00
      BB: $8.83
      UTG: $12.91
      MP: $10.00
      CO: $10.44
      BTN: $10.72

Hero posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

      Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero has J:club: J:diamond:

fold, MP raises to $0.30, fold, BTN raises to $0.90, Hero calls $0.85, fold, MP calls $0.60

      Flop: ($2.80, 3 players) 4:club: 5:spade: 8:diamond:
Hero checks, MP checks, BTN bets $1.77, Hero calls $1.77, fold

      Turn: ($6.34, 2 players) 9:heart:
Hero checks, BTN bets $4.52, [b]Hero???

BTN in only 60 hands he 3bet 5/20 times (25%), no hand went to showdown.

Preflop i decided to not cold 4bet my hand because i would only succed to make him fold all the worst hands.

His other stats were VPIP 27/ PFR 23/ AgFq 67(12/18 times)/ Flop Cbet 40% (2/5times).

On the flop i checked-called thinking that by donking i do not really protect my hand on that flop and i only get action when behind.

On the turn i think that most guys really mean it when they bet big, but on that sample i think he is leaning on the very aggressive side.

Given the little information i have, should i play as i would vs the population tendencies of the limit and fold or play by the small sample stats and shove?

      Hi Deo,

Preflop: Since we would be OOP I prefer to simply 4-bet the hand preflop (as a bluff) and we can still fold to his shove.

Calling and playing OOP most likely multiway won't be easy and most of the time we are just set mining.

Given the info we have we can simply fold that turn. After all he 3-bet, cbet into two people and bet big on the blank turn. Only had we really beat is TT or a pure bluff.
