      MP: $4.25 (212.5 bb)
      CO: $4.74 (237 bb)
      BTN: $2.83 (141.5 bb)
      Hero (SB): $2.21 (110.5 bb)
      BB: $1.77 (88.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K J
MP posts BB OOP, MP checks, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.10, BB folds, MP calls $0.08

      Flop: ($0.23) J 3 T (2 players)
Hero bets $0.16, MP calls $0.16

      Turn: ($0.55) T (2 players)
Hero bets $0.34, MP calls $0.34

      River: ($1.23) 5 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $0.64, Hero folds

The villain is unknown, but posting dead blinds implies fishiness.

Should I've made flop and turn bigger? Especially turn.

River: If we check, then we should call his bet, no? Because we are kinda inducing a bluff from him. Would bet/fold be a better option here? There're not so many weaker hands that would call my bet (QJ,J9 only I guess).

I hate playing river OOP, I never know what to do :f_mad: I think I'm folding too many top pairs to bluffing.

      Thanks.

      Hello,

      Preflop raising is fine.

Postflop looks good overall apart form the bet sizings.
I'd bet more on both flop and turn here - $0.18-$0.2 on the flop ($0.16 isn't too bad though) and $0.4 on the turn.

Check/folding the river against unknown looks fairly standard to me. It's hard to get called by worse here if we bet, and when we check it's much likely for him to just check back his weaker hands and only bet his better ones.
Also, since FD got there there's nothing really much left to bluff with expect KQ but we do block this as well.

      Best,
      Plamen

      Hi Plamen,

Oh, so we check/call when a draw didn't get there, right? That makes sense :f_biggrin:

Yeah, when the draw didn't get there is the right place to check/call although I don't really like check/calling a lot against unknowns.
