Poker Stars, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

      SB: $0.75 (37.5 bb)
      Hero (BB): $2.12 (106 bb)
      MP: $2.08 (104 bb)
      CO: $1.68 (84 bb)
      BTN: $5.49 (274.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9 A
MP folds, CO calls $0.02, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.10, CO calls $0.08

      Flop: ($0.21) 2 T K (2 players)
Hero bets $0.14, CO calls $0.14

      Turn: ($0.49) A (2 players)
Hero bets $0.32, CO raises to $0.64, Hero calls $0.32

      River: ($1.77) J (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $0.80, Hero folds

      The villain is 25/11/agg%:20/80

On the turn I didn't believe that he has a stronger pair, and there are not many 2P possible either: maybe A2, the rest should theoretically raise preflop, and K2 should probably fold. There's JQ straight possible though.

Should I have folded the turn, assuming he has a straight or A2?

      Thanks?

      Hello,

Preflop I don't mind raising as long as villain folds to cbet a lot.

Cbetting the flop here is close, but considering we have the Ac so we can bet any club turn I like it.

The turn brings us top pair, so betting here is fine. When he raises I prefer folding though. I doubt he raises a worse hand here.
What if he calls and the river is the Js?

As played on the turn, folding river is good.

      Best,
      Plamen

      Check/fold :)

Worse hands do not call here, and we've just covered in the previous hand that we don't play check/call when some draws have completed  :f_cool:

Yeah, that's it. We are unlikely to get called by worse and also check/calling is a bad option since some draws got there and he'd be inclined to check back his weaker hands and only bet his better ones.
