      Hi Dracsharp,

I'm curious as t o why you are not raising the flop for value? His smaller donk % indicates that he is most likely enjoying his hand. Either some sort of Tx or even an overpair. I'd raise 2.5x or so here and try to play for stacks versus him.

I doubt he ever donks a set or 2p like that.

As played you should bet the river larger. He is playing his hand exactly like a 8x-99-TT-JJ type hand and I doubt they are folding on the river.

It was his first donk ever and a pot sized one, i was not entirely convinced he does it with tx or many tx,overpair beside 2p,sets, so i just called, he might have folded it too.

So what's your plan if he pots each street (thus shoving river)?

Are you folding at any point?

We cloud call turn or fold turn, but if we believe the stats it's doubtful he would pot the turn with an 8x.

      So i would fold there

Based on the assumption you are going with (and the reasons behind not raising flop) I think that we need to fold the turn.

However I also think that only putting him on sets there and rare 2p it's a bit tight. Fish like this have TP+ here enough of the time for us to be able to raise profitably. Calling will lose us value in the long term, as seen here.
