Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      CO: $63.34 (126.7 bb)
      BTN: $85.43 (170.9 bb)
      SB: $51 (102 bb)
      Hero (BB): $90.10 (180.2 bb)
      UTG: $50 (100 bb)
      MP: $65.67 (131.3 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A K
UTG folds, MP raises to $1.50, CO folds, BTN raises to $5, SB folds, Hero raises to $11, MP folds, BTN calls $6

      Flop: ($23.75) 9 J K (2 players)
Hero bets $9.50, BTN calls $9.50

      Turn: ($42.75) 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $15, Hero calls $15

      River: ($72.75) 5 (2 players)
      Hero checks, BTN checks

      Anon table.

BTN played 22/17 after 84 hands.

I didnt want to just coldcall preflop and play oop without initiation. Or being this deep is it a better option?

Postflop this board this is not the best board although I have TPTK.
If he slowplayed KK+, it beats me, JJ beats me. QQ/TT wont pay on multiple streets.
So I made a smallish cbet which he could float wider (QQ/TT/maybe KQs).
On the turn I ch/called to give him the chance to float with weaker.
On the river I was planning to ch/fold to a bigger sized bet. I dont think he would turn QQ/TT into bluff like that very often, I split with AK, but beat by anything else.

      Hi

Whats his 3b range? And whats ur plan vs a shove? Ur image?
I think making it small to keep his aq or ajs kqs 65s axs in is fine. Postflop i like ur play. Judt bet once and let him float. Without dynamic i dont see too much value in multibareling. Let him bluff his at aq t8s etc

I didnt write it down, but it was something like 7% at the time on that sample. But I dont think we could build too much on a 84 hands sample regarding 3bet frequencies. Basically looked like an average TAG.

I thought that cold4betting is quite a strong move in itself, plus we are 170bb deep, so if he shoves I'm folding.
