Is my bet 1/2 pot on turn and river ok? I think he either also has Jx or Qx, with two pairs, or top pair, so I dont want him to fold that with bigger bet.

flop could be a give up spot. I would def give up with AK. With a gutshot i suppose betting isn~t so bad.

Any reads on the opponent? If I know he~s bad I would bet larger on turn and river, maybe 3/4 pot size. Your bet size is ok against someone who isnt too bad but may make crying calls with 2pairs or sets
