Okay, here come the weird ones

I think my problem here is that I made a stat-based 4bet having only 33 hands on him. I just thought that he's 3betting a lot of crap, and decided to check how he feels about 4bets.

What do you think?

Hi German,

Preflop: We shouldn't really call it a stat based decision because the sample is non existent.

On top of that villain is a bit short which means that he is more likely to go with more hands.

Now, after his shove we need ~33% equity. How does our hand do against a range he may shove with?

If we put him on 99+, AJ+ KQ+ we have a call.

Though, if we exclude like AJo, KQo, 99 -- we are behind. The question is how likely is he 5bet-shoving sth like KQo and AJo. I would tend to think that very rarely and fold.

Without reads it is a fold. However as mentioned above we should just fold to his 3-bet.
