Preflop was the right to raise but the flop was scary. I bet out to protect my hand but he raised. Should i have reraised?. At the time i thought against it because i would have to commit my stack.

Should i have checked the flop and raise him then...

on a flop like that id check-raise him on the to scare him out of the pot unless he has trips/full house. if he checks on the flop id bet 1/2potsize on the turn regardless of next card. If you get a call after raise on either position its an easy fold.

you have to remember though that id only do this on micro limits as to many players checkraising instead of cont.betting = monster to them. Also if you did hit trips on a suspicious board like this id cont be to make him raise like he did to you :p

whats the problem? do u think he would have raised you with a Q?
more likely that he would have called to try to take some more money out of u.

plus, QQ on flop = very unlikely that he has the 3td.
