SB checks, Hero bets $0.44, SB calls $0.44

      Turn: ($1.58) K (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero checks

      River: ($1.58) 8 (2 players)
SB bets $1, Hero calls $1

      Results:
      $3.58 pot ($0.17 rake)
      Final Board: 9 2 A K 8
Hero mucked A Q and lost (-$1.74 net)

Is it better to bet the turn rather than check back for pot control especially with a flush on board. If a fourth spade comes I have to fold.

      Hi Kevin,

      Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Considering the limited info we have on villain he can still have a lot of Ax hands we get value from especially ones with a spade.

So I would bet/fold the turn for about 0.9 or so.

What do you expect him to bet the river with once we check? Can you see worse Ax betting or any other bluffs/worse hands? If so the call is fine, but I think it's thin because most people check Ax hands there to you (at which point we can vbet).
