no data on villain, considering his stack he is probably fishy

turn check/bet? i decided to check back cause i will push out everything weaker and i dont see really any value in betting there, only type of hand that could call is some 9:heart: 9x/T:heart: T

river is an obv vbet ofc, once he raises i think he has a ton of bluffs cause he doesnt really rep much, and rarely flushes (would probably donk river) + my sizing might induce

I would check flop vs him. Hits his range, never folds any equity and you have no equity yourself. As played he can be quite random and your sizing could indeed induce often so it's a close bet/call but orefer just giving up flop.

Should one even steal against such short stack?

Yep, stealing is fine. 2.5bb or 2bb steals need to work so little and Ax blocks a lot of hands he reshoves on us. It's fine until you have a read he spews in a lto in blinds (is a pro short stacker). Then you should readjust your ranges.
