Preflop: Hero is BB with A T
3 folds, SB completes, Hero raises to $0.40, SB calls $0.30

      Flop: ($0.80) J T K (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero checks

      SB checks, Hero checks

      River: ($0.80) T (2 players)
      SB bets $1.36, Hero????

Is checking the flop ok here? or do we miss value from Ax, Qx and possibly 9x.

TURN: think i should definitely bet here, he's showing so much weakness.

RIVER: fold? he just screams Qx here.

      Hi GxTwo,

      Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Considering he is short he will most likely go with any hand that hits that flop (Qx, Kx, Jx, maybe even Tx) so if we bet we have to go with the hand given the pot odds we will get.

I'm assuming we know nothing about villain? I doubt he is shoving much worse for value so it's a question of him being able to bluff or not. For us to show a profit he needs to bluff 40% of the time (4/10 hands) and I think that if he wanted to bluff he'd probably bet the turn rather than shove river. So folding is fine.

I like that you trying to check it down, on river we need 40% eq and if we don't know him i would let it go, i would assume if he was so eager to bluff it by pushing his stack he would have done so already.
