Hero bets $0.50, MP calls $0.50

      Hero checks, MP checks

      River: ($1.75) 6 (2 players)

I felt his bet on the river was thin value or a bluff. His line doesn't look very strong, but then neither does mine ?(

      Hi Gxtwo,

Preflop: looks like a loose open from UTG. Do we have fish in the blinds (I'm assuming the short BB may be fishy)?

Postflop: Our line on the river doesn't make much sense and it only works as a bluff versus people that don't know anything about hand reading.

At these limits you may get away with that because villain will just muck his Qx or weak Ax without thinking much but we want to get into good habits where our lines makes sense and we can maximize our profitability.

Let's turn this back to you. If you had A5, QK, AJ how would you react to that river raise and why?

Pre i would skip raising kto

I am folding to this all day every day vs unknown, if i suspect he floats light turn c/r or double barrel solves that, but this is a terrible board to float, and i agree he can fold to this, missing turn bet might mean potcontrol or induce, probably potcontrol in standard play, but he most likely has an ace and you are not making much sense so he might look you up.

Vs unknown b/f once then c/f

That river raise is bad IMO. Against a tag who thinks it works, but against these guys on these limits.. Never. They just can't fold their TP etc.
