      4 hands on him, but because he is limping he is fish.

      Is river overplayed? What would I do if I bet and he pushes? I think I would have to call because he can do it with any Qx, but also bluff, or set.
      I check because he would bluff like that often with missed fd.

      The easy and imo, better way to play these spots is to make it big enough on flop and turn to shove river easily. Your goal here is to 'cooler' your opponent. Weaker hands call 1-2 bets at most so whether they call a 10bb bet on flop and fold to a turn overbet or call a 6 and 8 bb bet is outweighed by the 'cooler' situation when he has weaker Qx.

      As played, just call river vs his sizing. If he bets small you can value raise but this looks more like FH or air. Air folds, FH snaps you off.
