      Hi Bjorn,

      Why are we open limping this hand preflop?

      We should come in with a raise anytime we want to play this hand.

      As played raise the flop bigger for pure value (and some protection). Considering their stack sizes you can even put them all in.

      I doubt anything folds on the turn and given how little money they have behind and that we usually have 10 outs (if behind) I'd go with the hand as well.

      but if I open raise, and they 3bet me, can i call 3bet with 99?

      Unless the 3-bet is small or you are deep you should not look at calling 3-bets OOP with these pairs.

      So, the only reason you don't open this hand is because you are afraid of a 3-bet? That doesn't make much sense because if you limp it you get isolated a lot and you only win when you hit, if then.
