Should you generally always raise suited connectors if it's folded to you in late position or does it depend on the player types that are in the blinds? I find it works best against tight players who will often fold preflop or on the flop and not so well against players who almost never give up. If players/coaches could share their thoughts on this it would be greatly appreciated.

I second your analysis. Open raising suited connectors from late position is most efficient if the blinds are tight. The looser they are, the tougher it gets. Still, against most players on low and midstakes, it should be profitable to play suited connectors. At least if these players are deep enough so you have some implied odds.

If the players behind you are very short it doesn't make much sense to open raise suited connectors obv. At least not if you expect them to reshove frequently.

Hope I could help. If you have further questions feel free to ask!
