Villain is unknown, limping shows he's not that good.

Poker Stars, $0.02/$0.05 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      BTN: $7.51 (150.2 bb)
      SB: $2.64 (52.8 bb)
      Hero (BB): $5.96 (119.2 bb)
      UTG: $10.30 (206 bb)
      MP: $4.07 (81.4 bb)
      CO: $5 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8 J
UTG folds, MP calls $0.05, 3 folds, Hero raises to $0.20, MP calls $0.15

      Flop: ($0.42) 4 T K (2 players)
Hero bets $0.30, MP calls $0.30

      Turn: ($1.02) 9 (2 players)
      Hero checks, MP checks

      River: ($1.02) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.45, MP raises to $1.40, Hero calls $0.95

      $3.82 pot ($0.16 rake)
      Final Board: 4 T K 9 7
      Hero showed 8 J and won $3.66 ($1.76 net)
MP showed 9 Q and lost (-$1.90 net)

Pre-flop: Probably questionable, since I'm OOP postflop. My plan here was take the pot down either preflop or with cbet on flop.

Flop: Expecting him fold some suited weak Jx and Qx, pairs 22, 33, 55-99 also Ax hands. Draws, Kx, Tx calls, also can't remove TT and 44 from his range also.

Turn: Planned to ch/c or ch/f here according to odds. I expected him to bet here with Kx, sets, QJ. When he checks back, I think it's Tx and flushdraws most likely.

River: Equity needed calculates like this?: 0.95/(1.02+1.40+0.45+0.95)= 0.248 ~ 25%. I think it's pretty easy call here, he can raise river with {TT-99,44,KTs-K9s,K7s,QJs,KTo-K9o,QJo}. Should I push here?

      I prefer checking here preflop.

Flop is not the best to cbet since there are quite a lot of draws plus if we get called we have almost 0 equity so I think we can check here.

The turn improves our equity, but I doubt that he folds something here, so checking and playing according to the odds is fine.

As played, I'd bet like $0.75 on the river and play for stacks if he raises.
