I always seem to get confused when villains donk, and can never seem to really put them on a range

not many hands on villain but seemed tight. Thought he may check raise the turn so checked behind.

      Hi DrRaab,

      Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Based on your previous experience what have you seen similar players donk with? Without specific about the actual villain we should always try to look at our past experiences and what we can expect them to have based on that.

For example, in my mind I think that he can have quite a wide range here from draws to 1p type hands and occasionally some big hands. I would prefer a raise here to get value/protection and we can still fold to a 3-bet which I'd expect to be strong.

I also don't like the turn check. We should bet/fold there. We lose value and give free cards to pair+draw.
