      Hero (UTG): $6.08 - VPIP: 23, PFR: 19, 3B: 8, AF: 3.9, Hands: 21586
      CO: $3.58 - VPIP: 26, PFR: 14, 3B: 0, AF: 0.0, Hands: 35
      BTN: $3.47 - VPIP: 43, PFR: 0, 3B: 0, AF: 2.0, Hands: 30
      SB: $13.22 - VPIP: 29, PFR: 25, 3B: 11, AF: 1.9, Hands: 126
      BB: $5.00 - VPIP: 14, PFR: 8, 3B: 0, AF: 7.0, Hands: 106

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is UTG with T :spade: Q :spade:
Hero raises to $0.15, 2 folds, SB raises to $0.50, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.35

      Flop: ($1.05) 7 :club: J :club: 9  (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.65, SB raises to $1.70, Hero calls $1.05

      Turn: ($4.45) 7 :spade: (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero checks

      River: ($4.45) A :club: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3.20, SB raises to $6.40, Hero folds

Preflop: how is my call? He seems 3-betting quite a bit.

      Flop: check-raise is often a (semi)bluff here.

      Turn: just take a card

River: I thought I would bluff him of a Jack, a nine, KQ...the problem I realized now -- his Jacks and nines have often an ace here too :f_rolleyes: Plus a club completes his FD, and I don't think that he will have that many bluffs with a K-kicker here...so just check it back again, right? I think I kinda forgot who is the PFA here :)

      Hi,

Since you raised UTG then his 3-betting range is tighter and mostly contains broawday hands that has QTs crushed, so raise/folding should be best option
b/c flop is fine. I would not bluff that river, since he very likely would not fold his QQ/KK, sometimes have AA or slowplayed boat+ flushdraw completed.

      best regards,

True, I didn't quite realize that our QT is dominated so badly preflop.

      Thanks, Kaitz.

What would you recommend for calling 3Bs preflop IP? Some speculative hands that won't be dominated, like 89s?

How about medium pockets like 88+? The problem with them, they might be dominated as well.

Finally, maybe sth like KQs, AJs too.

Hi, UTG I would generally even fold AQ, since players usually would not 3-bet these spots. If I continue then 88+ seems reasonable range, but even then I´m not happy to play stacks and likely would call once unless board is Axx and fold to turn bet.
You´re sadly not deep enough to call suited connectors

Calling with medium and higher pp-s are better, since then you can flop set and likely get paid if he has overpair.

Oh, yeah, true. The range I listed is more like BU vs blinds play, not UTG vs blinds.
